Free parking Subiaco

The City of Subiaco’s free parking initiative, which was introduced to support health care and essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, will end in two weeks.

With restrictions easing and more people returning to work, pressure on traffic and parking is increasing.

Free parking was introduced on 1 April and will be in place until Tuesday 30 June, inclusive. Paid parking and parking compliance will return to normal after that.

Free parking on evenings and weekends in City car parks will continue after July. The free parking initiative has provided an estimated $437,000 of parking support for staff in surrounding hospitals and essential workers in Subiaco offices. The initiative was part of the City’s $4 million COVID-19 response.
