Top Tips for parking in Subiaco

When visiting Subiaco we want you to come and go safely, please remember the following:

  • do not park or stop in a no stopping area
  • do not park in a no parking area or loading zone
  • do not park in a bus stop
  • do not park or stop in a disability parking permit bay without a permit
  • do not park or stop on a verge where signage prohibits such action
  • do not park on a verge without permission from property owner or occupier
  • do not park in bays designated for other types of vehicles (eg taxi or motorcycle)
  • do not park or stop in a right of way or obstruct private driveways
  • do not park or stop on a footpath
  • do not park facing against the traffic flow (headed in the wrong direction)
  • do not remove chalk marks on tyres
  • do not move the vehicle (once parked) and repark within the same street/area within one hour (the time limit does not apply merely to the space or bay occupied but to the whole street or car park.

Please remember the following rules to avoid a parking infringement:

  • Make sure you take time to read the parking sign.
  • Ensure ticket is face up and clearly visible
  • Ensure you enter the correct registration number when required
  • Check that you know the times you are allowed to park and allow yourself time to return before your parking expires.
  • Ensure you have parked your vehicle within the lines or area permitted.
  • Ensure your valid parking ticket is clearly displayed inside your vehicle before leaving.
  • Ensure your valid residential or visitor parking permit is clearly displayed.

Ticket Machine Faults

If you come across a fault with one of our machines please contact 1300 187 603 for immediate assistance.

Please note if the credit card payment facility is offline you must pay for parking either by coin or by our pay-by-phone app.

The credit card payment facility may occasionally encounter technical issues, generally in relation to communicating with the bank via the mobile network. If your credit card has been declined but a charge appears on your account, don’t worry our parking machines detect errors and automatically refund the charge.

The refund may take 1 to 3 business days to appear on your account, depending on how your bank processes refunds. If you are concerned that an error has occurred, or you have been charged incorrectly, contact us on subipark@subiaco.wa.gov.au.
